Combat System – First playable version of turn-based encounters, featuring Ava’s mutation abilities and Gabriel’s tactical skills. Supports status effects, and targeted attacks.
- Navigation – Risk-based location travel that can trigger encounters and reveal new areas for scavenging.
- Equipment – Weapons, armor, and tools with attribute bonuses now usable in combat and missions.
- Shops – Buy, sell, and restore gear using Rations or Power Cells.
- Scavenging – Search newly found areas for Rations, Power Cells, and even lost mission-critical items, along with other useful gear.
- Mission Tasks – Missions can now include incremental goals such as:
- Winning an encounter
- Advancing an area
- Discovering a sublocation Completing tasks contributes to mission score.
