Introduces the first playable combat, navigation, equipment, shop, and scavenging systems, plus new mission tasks that award score for key objectives.
Combat System – First playable version of turn-based encounters, featuring Ava’s mutation abilities and Gabriel’s tactical skills. Supports status effects, and targeted attacks.
Navigation – Risk-based location travel that can trigger encounters and reveal new areas for scavenging.
Equipment – Weapons, armor, and tools with attribute bonuses now usable in combat and missions.
Shops – Buy, sell, and restore gear using Rations or Power Cells.
Scavenging – Search newly found areas for Rations, Power Cells, and even lost mission-critical items, along with other useful gear.
Mission Tasks – Missions can now include incremental goals such as:
Winning an encounter
Advancing an area
Discovering a sublocation Completing tasks contributes to mission score.
